Kelly Assurance is an independent insurance agency. This means that we have the ability to contract with a variety of excellent insurance companies. Independent insurance agencies are different than the captive agencies you might recognize on the television. Since we do not represent any one single insurance company, we market your risk to all of our carriers. Kelly Assurance was created by Megan Kelly through hard work, dedication, and perseverance Megan was able to build a successful insurance agency with a great reputation for service. When Megan passed away in June 2021, she left the agency in the care of her son Anthony Kelly and nephew Matthew Kelly who both aspire to continue the excellence of the company in her honor.

Megan served the Beverly, Chicago, and Southwest Chicago Suburbs areas and specializes in personal lines as well as commercial and construction insurance. Megan grew up in Beverly and has been an active member of the community, serving the area she grew up in.
What is a CIC, Certified Insurance Counselor?
The insurance and risk management industry today can be complex and confusing. As you consider what types of insurance coverage you need for your unique circumstances of risks and exposures, keep in mind that Megan’s training as a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) has prepared her immensely to be the competent advisor that you can trust. Megan’s drive and commitment as an individual is what led her to complete the CIC designation. It represents her career long commitment to stay on top of the fast paced, important changes in the industry to be aware of the new risks and new policy protections that arise so that she can better serve her clients.
Megan is the type of person who is not content to just sit back and collect annual commissions. She wants to be the best she can be. She uses her education to gain an in-depth understanding of the nuances of complex risks and the best ways to protect against them. Training to become a CIC includes 100 classroom hours and five comprehensive exams. Additionally, she attends continuing education courses every year to keep her knowledge and skills up to date in order to ensure that you always receive the care, attention, and current information necessary to make your decisions about your policy and coverage.
The CIC designation is a mark of distinction that demonstrates her commitment to professional excellence and leadership in the industry. She is proud to be among only 31,000 CIC’s in the country making her one of the best and most knowledgeable insurance practitioners in the nation.
